TVET SITUATIONER

TESD SERVICES

  • The are only twelve Technical Vocational Insitutions offering WTR-registered programs in the province;
  • Has only one (1) public institution offering TVET Program (ladderized courses) (Occidental Mindoro State College);
  • The bulk of the TVIs are located in San Jose accounting for 66%;
  • Enrollment was pegged at 6,928 (all modes) as of October 31, 2016;
  • Graduate report reached 6,409 (all modes) as of October 31, 2016;
  • TVET scholarship provision (enrolled) was pegged at 1,914 (TWSP, PESFA, BUB, BKSTP combined) as of October 31, 2016;
  • TVET scholarship provision (graduate) was pegged at 1,740 (TWSP, PESFA, BUB, BKSTP combined) as of October 31, 2016;

TESD REGULATION SERVICES

  • There are  twenty-six (26) TVET trainers (NTCC certified) certified in sixty (60) various qualifications as of October 31, 2016;
  • There are 44 accredited competency assessors as of October 31, 2016;
  • Some 3, 418 persons assessed in various qualifications  as of October 31, 2016;
  • Total persons certified reached 2,695;
  • The are seven (7) Accredited Assessment Centers operating in the area which altogether offer twenty-seven (27) program/qualifications;
  • There are five (5) Mobile Training Providers with registered WTR programs in the province;
